What can I expect if I visit HBC?
Know that whoever you are, whatever your background, however you dress, whatever you do, no matter your age, whomever you love, you will be welcomed.
Before the Worship Service, there is a time of learning in informal classes for all ages. These begin at 9:30 and are a great place to connect with others.
Following Sunday School, there is a coffee time designed to help people make connections. At this time new friendships are discovered and old friends catch up with one another. This begins at 10:30.
In our worship together you will experience contemporary music accompanied by God’s House Band, as well as traditional hymns led on our pipe organ. There will be a message from the Bible that will be applicable to your daily life. Children will invited to Kids Connection where they participate in games, instruction and crafts.
When the offering is received, realize that the time of giving is for those who have made HBC their home. If you are our guest, do not feel obligated to give.
After you visit, if you fill out one of the colorful cards at your seat, you will receive a call or email or letter from the pastor welcoming you to HBC and providing further information about our life together. If you choose to make this your church home there is an introductory class offered at various times throughout the year.
