We live in a world that is more connected everyday. That sounds like a good thing, but most of these connections are between things like social media, electronics, and security systems. While technology is great, at the same time connections between people are growing thinner and becoming more tribal. Even in a crowd, people often feel alone. And when we are isolated, weariness and exhaustion can overwhelm us.

In the story of the creation of Adam and Eve, God declared that it was not good for people to be alone. That is still true today. That is why the Mission of Hatboro Baptist Church is a mission of connection. We long to connect people with God who is the source of our life. With one another where we can find community and health. And with our deepest selves where we will be able to love ourselves for the people God has created us to be. When we are connected in this way, we can be whole.

If the connection of things has left you feeling unconnected to life, we invite you to find wholeness with us at Hatboro Baptist Church. Call us or visit us Sunday mornings!

At Hatboro Baptist Church it is our desire to live each day as Christians. The word “Christian” was coined in the First Century as a way to mock the followers of Jesus. The word means “Little Christ”. Soon the term that was meant to mock, became a badge of faith.

“And so, when we say we desire to live each day as Christians, we mean that it is our intention to live so people will see Christ in us. Being Connected with God through Christ gives us the desire to bring healing and wholeness to the people around us, connecting us to them. And as we reach out to others, we are forced to examine our lives and through the work of the Holy Spirit be made more in the image of Christ.

Love is a fruit in season at all times, and within reach of every hand. It is the greatest gift anyone can give.

Being a Christian is more than just an instantaneous conversion – it is a daily process whereby you grow to be more and more like Christ.

Billy Graham

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.

Martin Luther King, Jr.

God cannot give us a happiness and peace apart from Himself, because it is not there. There is no such thing.

C. S. Lewis

And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in swaddling cloths and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn.

LUKE 2:7
